Born in Homs/Syrian 1953, married, and has 3 children. 1972-1978 study of Medicine in Damascus University, MD Damascus 1978 with an excellent score. After an education in the German Language in 1980 started my postgraduate study in Surgery at the University Hospital of Ulm Germany. Degree of Specialist in Surgery.

(Facharzt) 1986; Ph.D. degree University of Ulm 1988 with the excellent score; Consultant in Surgery 1986, Promotion Associated Professor of Surgery University of Ulm 1990; Promotion Professor of Surgery University of Ulm 1996; Consultant and specialist in Visceral Surgery 1996 and in Surgical intensive care 1997.

Chairman Department of Surgery University of Jena Germany Teaching Hospital Weimar 1999-2001. 2002 till 2015 professor of Surgery United Arab Emirates University, Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences with Consultant Position at Tawam & Al ain hospitals. 2015 till now Free Consultant Surgeon in Dubai, Sharjah & Al Ain.
